At Edgware, we are always working hard to promote a healthy lifestyle for your children.
This term, one of our projects is to educate our families in the walking distances surrounding the school to try and encourage more of you to ditch your cars and work on your step-count. On this map, you will notice how many of you fit within the 10-minute walking zone. Twenty minutes of walking each day to and from school can have so many incredible benefits:
- improving physical health
- improving mental health
- less pollution from petrol vehicles
- less traffic around the school during drop-off and pick-up times
- safer route for your children
